2LG Studio’s successful inclusive show, You Can Sit With Us, returns as we create an underground Salon at Shoreditch town hall for Design London, showcasing Queer design talent. Including lighting, furniture, ceramics, glass, art and textiles. This year’s theme, Green carnation, is inspired by Oscar Wilde, who famously wore the flower as a signal of his queerness to others in the know. It has become symbolic to the queer community and here represents a gathering of creative voices, a conversation, a safe space. 2LG will offer tarot readings in the space and are hosting talks and a spoken word event in the main talks space, to deepen the narrative around this installation.
